The article substantiates the need for improving authority of the Supreme Court of Ukraine as to safeguarding uniformity of judicial practice. Particular attention in this context is paid to appraisal of legal force of the decisions adopted by the Supreme Court of Ukraine in connection with given to them binding effect.
