The notions of «startup» and «startup company» and different approaches to these categories understanding are analyzed in the article. The author solves the issue of startapers’ mutual rights and obligations by concluding a cooperation agreement. Case law in the field of cooperation agreement conclusion between founders of startups is analyzed through the principle of freedom of contract.
