The article is devoted to research of the institute of training lawyers both in Ukraine and abroad. The article provides a set of legal provisions that regulate the type, the order of transmission and evaluation system training of lawyers in Ukraine. The shortcomings of the legal regulation have been identified. The foreign experience of training lawyers has been shown.
