The disadvantages of current of Ukrainian legislation in force concerning advocates’ disciplinary liability are being discovered in the article. The author presents his suggestions regarding clarification of grounds and terms of bringing an advocate to disciplinary liability, expanding the list of disciplinary sanctions and improving the disciplinary proceedings against advocates.
