| Annotation |
The article analyses the place and importance of the form of state in the system of constitutional order of a modern democratic state. The most common in modern constitutional practice forms, means and mechanisms to secure forms of state and its basic elements on the constitutional and legal level were analyzed. The author gives a description of the major trends in the transformation of the forms of state in conditions of democratization, approval of the rule of law, and formation of a developed civil society. Particular attention is paid to the relation of theoretical models of the constitutional definition of the form of state and the practice of their implementation. |
