The problems of national security policy of Ukraine in the context of transformational change and transformation on a background of modern challenges and threats are analyzed in the article. The author highlights the urgent issues related to national security, requiring the development and implementation of specific public policy in the area of security, especially in that part which provides protection of society and the state from external and internal threats.
