Annotation The article is dedicated to the issues of the impact of criminal legal communication on the effectiveness of criminal legal regulation with a view to technological and socio-psychological assessment of communication effectiveness and achievement of the intended objective. It is argued that impermissibility of unjustified situational legislative inversion, the lack of essential preceding criminalistics examination, as well as conflict in acceptance of criminalization level affect the effectiveness of criminal legal communication and may lead to behavioral conflicts in the society. Abuse of legal communication is one of the means of authorities pressure on the society that discredits the value of criminal law as a branch aimed at protecting major social values and relations emerging from them. The author emphasized that the modern paradigm of criminal law of Ukraine remains inquisitional and needs modernization, i.e. abandoning «protection from socially dangerous acts» and forming the trends of «protection of interests of a person, the society and the state», as well as «maintaining proper criminal legal treatment of criminals and victims of crimes».
