| Annotation |
The article analyzes criminalization of corporate raider acts. The necessity of a comprehensive approach to settle the issue of relevant criminal liability for hostile takeovers is justified given the analysis of the effective Criminal Code of Ukraine. In particular, the article contains analytical conclusions on criminal law protection of minority shareholders’ rights. The article also emphasizes unreasonable competition between rules recently involved in the Criminal Code of Ukraine with existing norms. Recommendations for further improvement of the criminal legislation of Ukraine with a view to the phenomena analyzed in the article are made. |
