| Annotation |
The article deals with the model of marriage law according to the monograph «Jewish Marriage Law» of professor W. Homolka (FRG). The scientist studies the development of the Jewish law, prerequisites and obstacles for marriage; defines principal issues of engagement and its legal status under the Jewish law; considers the contract and termination of marriage by its break up or due to death. The author analyzes status and competence of the court of rabbins. The marriage law and police activities comprises an ethical component in Israel and constantly consider the interests of citizens. The model of the Jewish marriage law and the court of rabbins, activities of police in Israel may serve as an example for cautious use in reforming operation of enforcement bodies in Ukraine. |
