| Annotation | The article is dedicated to issues of whistleblower protection as strong guarantee for government transparency as well as for constitutional order of state. The article discusses definition of whistleblowing. The author considers the international best practice of whistleblower laws. The paper explores American and European scholars’ views and recommendations on whistleblower laws. The article focuses on forces influencing the whistleblower protection in the framework of legal system of a country. The author studies the relations between securing legal status of whistleblowers and protection of constitutional system of a state. The author emphasizes that in current political and legal situation in Ukraine the implementation of the whistleblower protection is vital and crucial for development of Ukraine as a constitutional state. |
