| Annotation | The article studies the main problems in translation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (the Court). Peculiarities of translation from English into Ukrainian of judgments of the Court are subject to examination. Official translations of judgments of the Court as well as translations loaded from the official Court’s web site are under consideration. The author analyzes tools and methods of translation of judgments of the Court as well as determinants of translation problems. The main translation problems concerning the Court’s judgments are elucidated. Several suggestions are made in the article to improve the translation of usual phrases. |
