| Annotation |
The content of the concepts «territory», «state system», «territorial division», «administrative-territorial division» reveals. The scientific discussions on form of government of Ukraine are analyzed; the politization of this issue during the political instability is indicated. The specific of emergence and operation of unitary form of government is considered. The instability of the federation form of territorial division caused by the huge potential conflict in relations between centre and regions is underlined. The inevitability of unitary evolution in Ukraine as result of implementation of decentralization and reforms of local government is explained. |
