Annotation The article covers characteristics of sources or forms of expression and existence, as well as branches of a Constitutional law of Ukraine, except the Constitution of Ukraine in the context of world experience. The branch itself is defined as «the right of law», and attention is paid to the different forms of law as such sources. Characterized are the nature and role in the legal regulation of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Ukraine, Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, and the Constitutional Agreement between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine on the Basic Principles of Organization and Functioning of Public Authorities and Local Self-Government in Ukraine for the Period until the Adoption of the New Constitution of Ukraine. The author formulated a position on the ratio of the national branch of a constitutional law with such legal form as an international treaty. Considered are the normative properties of solutions of the sole body of constitutional jurisdiction, which are recognised as sources of the constitutional law. In connection with the subject of the article suggested is the evaluation of the phenomenon of the official interpretation of the law.
