| Annotation |
In the article the author draws attention to the problems of the modern electoral law of Ukraine. In particular: the problem of «dirty» electoral technologies, including judicial resource. From the point of view of the existence of these problems, a researcher associated with the wrong approach of the legislator to determine the mechanism of formation of election commissions and the status of their members. Implementation of constituent power is complicated by the use of a proportional electoral system for local elections, which is below the principle of representation of the interests of the population, the author notes. The paper identifies priorities for the process to further improve the electoral legislation of Ukraine. The author drew attention to the unintended consequences that may arise under certain changes in it, and suggested ways of solving some of these problematic issues in the article. |
