| Annotation |
The article deals with constitutional bases of electoral law of Ukraine that are the background for legal formation of local authorities. They are basic legal issues, reference points of the whole electoral process; determine the limits under which the mechanism of electoral legal relations functions. These bases fulfil a crucial role in realization of direct expression of the will of the people, creation and development of electoral law, they are its most important and stable components. The paper analyzes legal background of electoral law of Ukraine. The author’s definition of the bases of electoral law of Ukraine has been given. The bases of electoral law of Ukraine have been classified. The constitutional bases of electoral law of Ukraine have been characterized. |
