In this article the problem questions of application of criminal and legal norms are investigated on the example of Division VIII of Special Part of Criminal Code of Ukraine «Crimes against the Environment». Expediency of existence of blanket dispositions of criminal and legal norms is grounded in the field of environmental protection on the modern stage of development of criminal law of Ukraine.
