| Annotation |
The article is devoted to the analysis of doctrine and practice of the implementation of soft law in the EU. EU soft law concerns rules of conduct embodied in legally non-binding acts. The decision-making process for adopting them is not defined in statutory acts. Different classifications of legal instruments are suggested that are recommendatory. Practical mechanisms for the application of soft law acts are indicated, especially those used in EU competition policy. Soft law lays the foundation for adopting binding acts by EU institutions. |
