The nature of dogmatic arguments and the role they play in legaldiscourse are appeared in this publication. For this purpose the conception of legaldogmatics is researched, dogmatic propositions are considered, the features of theirapplication, justification and testing are analyzed. The functions of legal dogmatics areidentified, their meaning is revealed.
