The paper deals with the issue of systemic properties attributed to law. The author criticizes the superfluous analogies between ‘systems’ in social, biological and technical senses, and points out the difficulties of application of the system theory for description and explanation of the positive law. Some arguments in favor of the thesis about systemacity of law are also considered, as well as the criticism of them.
