| Annotation | The article deals with the reception of law as a sphere of legal research. Considered is the problematics of studies of reception of Roman law in various, mainly European, countries, the French Civil Code, law of European countries in Turkey and others. The author indicating the general nature of the various receptions, unity issues of their study, and justifies that the leading approach in such studies should be comparative. Delimited formal and real aspects of the reception of foreign law, the author proposes own vision of conditions for its effectiveness. Stressed on the importance of studying the phenomenon of reception for the planning and implementation of unification and harmonization of international and private international law. |
