Annotation | The article, based on the study of a number of documents of the Russian and the Ukrainian Orthodox Churches of the Moscow Patriarchate, and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate, characterizes the positions of these religious institutions concerning fundamental human rights and freedoms. The conclusion about the ambiguity of assessment of such positions in the light of current international standards for these rights and freedoms is substantiated. |
