In this article the questions of legal provision for the use of natural resources in economic sphere are considered, the purpose of such use is refined, analysis of the economic law mechanism for the use of nature is presented, refinements of such elements of this mechanism as forms of use, legal mechanism to stimulate and finance appropriate activities to reduce the nature intensity of economic activity, and economic law responsibility are offered.
