Annotation | The article describes the history of agrarian and land law development in Ukraine since the occurrence of the legal system of the Russian Empire, Kingdom of Poland, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Austria, and then the Austro-Hungarian Empire, in the context of the forming there the feudal and capitalist social formations, securing private property, the abolition of serfdom in 1981, Stolypin’s agrarian reform. The issues of legal regulation of land and agrarian relations after the abolition of private, and introduction of state land other natural resources ownership are shown. The introduction of the socialist economic system after the 1917 Revolution, the collectivization of agriculture, the formation of the agricultural law in the legal system of the Soviet Union, taking to an account the problems concerning the collapse of the socialist economy after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, establishing an independent Ukrainian state, the revival of private land and other natural resources ownership and the formation of the agrarian and land law in Ukraine as independent branches of law in the legal system of Ukraine. |
