In this article the state and problems of bringing the legislation of Ukraine to accordance with the law of EU in the context of the process of the European integration of Ukraine is analyzed; the trends of this process are shown, its stages are highlighted; the accent is made on the methodology of the conformity assessment and peculiarities of its use in Ukraine; the most problematic spheres of harmonization of a legislation in the form of convergence are highlighted.
