The historical analysis of the development of the doctrine of inheritance law and the legislation of Ukraine is given in this article, in particular the analysis of the norms of the Civil Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine «On Notaries» and the Order of the fulfillment of notary actions by the notaries of Ukraine, and propositions about improvement of mentioned legislation is held.
