Annotation The article is devoted to systematization of principles of the judicial process in the Council of Europe. The article is based on a broad approach to the understanding of International procedural law and international judicial process. According to the author, the system of principles of judicial process in the Council of Europe is a set of general principles of law, basic principles of International law and special principles of judicial process. The attention in the article is focused on the last one. The author distinguishes principles of judicial proceedings in the Council of Europe, principles of interpretation of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and other principles used to justify decisions and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. The author provides the examples of their usage in practice of the European Court of Human Rights.
