The article introduces the research of basic types of nontraditional understandings of law laid out in the volume «Nonclassical Philosophy of Law: Questions and Answers» (Kharkiv, 2013, 272 p.). It is delivered from the standpoint of author’s «needs-oriented» understanding of law.
