Annotation

The article discusses some of the legal issues affecting the viability of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in the context of structural/systemic deficiencies (dysfunctions) in the national legal systems of the States Parties. The author identify the role of the Supreme Courts in ensuring the effectiveness and viability of the Convention-Court system.
