In the article the current Law of Ukraine «On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges», which changed the spirit and letter of the Constitution in matters of justice, is analyzed. It is noted that the Supreme Court, limited in its powers by law, can not perform assigned by the Constitution of Ukraine and by the applicable laws coordinating, methodological, unifying and supervisory control function to ensure the quality of law and order in the country. The conclusion of the necessity to establish order in the court system was made. It should be started with the establishment of the place and significance of the Supreme Court of Ukraine as the highest judicial body in the system of courts of general jurisdiction. Its authority and revisory function in cases of civil, administrative, criminal and commercial jurisdiction should be enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine.
