This article discusses some aspects of the regulation of contractual relations in the civil law of Ukraine. The author justifies the selection of two types of regulation of social relations: the first type — self-regulation, the second type state regulation of civil relations. The first type of regulation of civil relations is a priority in the field of contractual relations. In addition, analyzes the reasons for government intervention in the regulation of civil relations, the need to prove the validity of any such interference.
