The author analyzes the mechanisms and problems of application of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in the EU legal order, examines the prospects of the EU accession to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and scrutinises the peculiarities of the EU human rights protection system practice, doctrinal views and judicial practice on these issues.
