The article deals with results of studying issues on legal regulation of separate court ruling in the civil proceedings. A brief historical review of the implementation of norms on separate court ruling is provided; the opinions of scientists regarding this type of court decisions are analyzed. Changes in regulation of separate court rulings according to the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine of 1963, 2004 and the draft Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine are considered in comparative legal aspect. The main attention is paid to the analysis of principal novels concerning the separate court ruling introduced in the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine in the process of reforming the procedural legislation. Perspectives of the application of these norms by courts and other law-enforcement agencies are considered, proposals on this issue are presented.
