The article presents the economic and legal assessment of the proposed changes to the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine with a view to identifying the shortcomings and advantages of legislative innovations from the scientific point of view. The prospects of development of domestic economic procedural legislation in the light of the latest legislative short stories are proposed. It is stated that there is interdependence between the level of development of the economic system of the state and the judicial system. It is noted that the new version of the Commercial Procedural Code of Ukraine contains certain provisions which, in their content, are very progressive and can have a positive impact on the implementation of economic legal proceedings. It is argued that the danger to the sustainable development of the state economy is creating the provisions of the bill, which to some extent contradict the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine and is offset by the positive experience of leading foreign countries in the sphere of the construction of a system of procedural legislation that has been tried for decades.
