| Abstract | ABSTRACT. The foundations of the concept and content of the Ukrainian Law “On Private International Law” were created in 1992–1996. Since then, for near three decades, much has changed in Ukraine and the world in economic, political and legal terms. Looking at private international law (PIL) area, new approaches to conflict-of-law decisions have been further developed and reflected in EU regulations and the documents of the Hague Conference on Private International Law. It should also be noted that in the XXI century the most modern ideas of conflict-of-law regulation are embodied in numerous new national codifications of PIL, both in the framework of civil codes and in special laws. |
