The article is devoted to the study of the processes of implementation of EU law in the national legislation on protection of economic competition of Ukraine. The main areas of competition law that are developing in Ukraine under the active influence of the processes of “Europeanization” are identified, including the legal regimes of vertical concerted actions, control on concentrations, state aid to undertakings. Special attention is paid to procedural issues of improving the national legislation of Ukraine. It is proved that the competition legislation of Ukraine must comply with the principles of transparency, non-discrimination, procedural justice and the right to protection. An important role in bringing Ukraine’s legal system closer to EU standards on the basis of the Association Agreement belongs to law enforcement agencies, among which the practice of courts at various levels, headed by the Supreme Court, is of the greatest importance. The case law in Ukraine on the application of the Association Agreement is analyzed.
