The article is devoted to problems of terminology and definition of the content of the concepts contained in the Criminal Code of Ukraine. One of the essential characteristics of the objective side of the crimes against human health are also studied — act (action and inaction). The analysis of the work of scientists involved in this subject, given own vision for improving the criminal law, namely the crimes against human health.
