Transformations in nature and meaning of legal normativity require elaboration of the new approaches to its role and goal in society. This is why today there is a quest for strengthening the authority of law and determining the structure of this authority. In this context, there are transformations in role of principles of law. They start serving the factors of the weak replacement within the process of establishing of legal regulation, as well as the instruments of the strong replacement modifying the legal impact on social practices. For this reason, principles of law should be considered as special indicator-rules, which act both within and beyond legal area. They orient individuals on complying with law by accumulating its main advantages and values, but also, they act as markers of integrity of legal sphere, which must be followed by judges in making judgments and decisions.
