The article is dedicated to the research of legal objects to which Art. 1 of the First Protocol of Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms extends its effect. The correlation of these objects with the benefits concerning which the right of property may appear under the Ukrainian Law There has been studied. The general approach to the understanding of the category «property» in the text of Protocol defined, in a specific context the peculiarities of protection of the persons’ rights to enforcement of court decisions, rights to the shares, patents, professional customers and other economic interests has been analyzed. A particular stressed is put on the existence of the state’s obligation to guarantee and provide individuals with the right to peaceful ownership.
