| Annotation | The article deals with current issues of fulfillment of international obligations of Ukraine in the framework of implementation of the European Union intellectual property law under the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. Special attention is paid to the study of the Association Agreement provisions on intellectual property protection, particularly to the acquis to be implemented, terms of adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation to the relevant EU law. The authors analyze the current situation of the Association Agreement implementation, namely measures taken by the Ukrainian government and central executive bodies therefor. The action plans and reports on Association Agreement implementation are studied; furthermore the article sets forth the list of legislative initiatives on modernizing copyright and related rights, collective management, industrial property, as well as intellectual property rights enforcement in compliance with the European standards. |
