| Annotation | The article is dedicated to the study of the current state of implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine in public procurement field. The main stages of the legislation development in the field are determined. The changes and progress in legal regulation, as well as recent public procurement legislative initiatives in Ukraine are studied in the article. Ukraine adopts regulations in the sphere of European integration and seeks the Agreement implementation. Attention is paid to the analysis of the legal basis for the public procurement regulation within the framework of the Association Agreement, requiring adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation in this area to the EU acquis, certain institutional reforms and creation of effective public procurement system based on the principles, concepts and definitions of the EU directives. Moreover, the provisions of the relevant annexes to the Agreement that clearly determine the implementation stages are analyzed. |
