The article is dedicated to significant aspects of approximation of the environmental law of Ukraine to the one of the European Union. It points out environmental elements in the Association Agreement concluded in 2014 between the European Union and the Member States on the one hand, and Ukraine on the other. It presents the basic treaty provisions, the EU principles of the environmental law and priorities of the Seventh Environment Action Programme and also the Polish experience of adoptation of Ecological Law to the European Union Law.
