The article deals with the necessity of searching and implementation of new mechanisms of ensuring the judicial practice unity, the institute of prejudicial (consultative) request nature, the experience of its use, mechanism of action, expediency and perspectives of its implementation in the judicial system of Ukraine, possible problems along the way.
