The scientific article is devoted to the question on the definition of the main sources of regulatory impact on public civil relations in Ukraine. The author set himself the aim to establish a relationship of legal regulation of civil relationships, self-regulation and regulation by means of acts of judicial law-making; and explore the implementation of the principle freedom of contract in the legislation and judicial practice, setting applied by the court forms and methods of restriction freedom of contract.
