Annotation

In the article the author determines different forms of government and thereupon — a comparative analysis of the executive power`s phenomenon in the context of contemporary forms of government. In the appropriate context in consideration of state practice of developed countries place and role in the organization and its implementation of executive heads of state and government and also countersigning (strengthening) institute acts of the President have been discussed. The attention is paid to the presidential functions, in particular due to his constitutional definitions as the arbiter and guarantor. Institute of impeachment and its legal implications have been also analyzed. Government models as a prosecuting tribunal, the procedure for the formation of its personnel formation and the status of the head of government under conditions of different forms of government and political responsibility of the government have been determined and described.
