In the clause questions of realization of the right to access to the publicinformation in the European law and the legislation of Poland was researched. The historyof formation of the right to access to the information, and also court practice of European courton human rights concerning realization of the specific right are researched. A principle of accessto the public information according to the legislation of Poland was analyzed.
