In article the criminal and legal characteristic of the persons committingecological crimes on the basis of research of the official statistical reporting and other sourcesof criminological information is provided. The analysis has determined the specific features ofthe violators of this category such as the indicators of the repeated crime and group crime rates(including gangs); different types of violations.
