In the scientific article deals with current issues of science of labor law onthe legal ideology, which has become the foundation of the Labor Code of Ukraine XXI century.The author focuses on the fact that the content of legal norms that regulate the process withthe use of a man of his ability to work as one of its essential qualities for the benefit of society,is to objectively reflect the ideals of humanity, freedom, justice, equality, the idea that modernlegal the ideology of the state. It is concluded that the legal status of the employee andthe employer should determine the equality of the parties of the employment contract, the termsthereof, the principle of equitable distribution of the fruits of labor as important principlesshould determine the content of the laws of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
