Annotation | The article defines the notion of civil society in the context of modern Ukrainian Constitutionalism. It is treated in this context as a free, humanist, democratic, based on the rule of law, individual-oriented, structured and self-governed society where individual and personal freedoms are the biggest values. The author views civil society as a prerequisite of modern Ukrainian Constitutionalism and outlines the following trends of its development: evolution of the institute of private property; the tendency to increase human dimension and environmental awareness; the tendency to enhance socio-humanitarian bases of civil society; the tendency to humanization of human society as well as keenness on political science and informatics. |
