The article assesses analysis of the legal status of an individual in the context of international judicial bodies. Based on the analysis of the Ukrainian and foreign theoretical and practical experience author conducted a comprehensive analysis of the legal bases and the order to bring individuals to international criminal responsibility; defined international crimes and delineated them with crimes of international significance; examined the mechanisms of regulation of international crimes and their effectiveness at different levels.
