The author analyzes the content and importance of the principles of territoriality and specialization, their implementation in the organization of the judiciary, and it’s influence in shaping the structure of the judicial system of Ukraine. The problematic issues of implementation of the principles of territoriality and specialization in the practical implementation of the constitutional amendments in the context of the new judicial legislation highlighted. It was expressed opinion of the development prospects of specialization of courts in Ukraine.
